Céline François
Céline developed her passion for storytelling through film at Chapman University, where she graduated with a BFA in Broadcast Journalism and Documentary. Céline first gained professional experience in the unscripted space through internships with an HBO documentary production and CNN Original Series & Films. During her recent time as the Development Coordinator on the Unscripted Entertainment team at Xpedition, she has completed endless story sourcing and research, created eye catching pitch decks, edited concept sizzles, and maintained the forward momentum of the department through a turbulent time in the industry. She hopes to spend her career highlighting authentic stories that showcase our collective humanity and relationship to the world we live in. As an independent filmmaker, her 2020 short, “Your Friend, Ranger Doug” about a 94-year-old Glacier National Park ranger, has been honored with numerous awards, including a nomination for the GSA BAFTA Student Awards. As of February 2025 she is working at Trifilm, Inc. in Kirkland, WA as a Production Coordinator.
