Seattle Documentary Association will host a 3 pm mixer at NWFF (before the 4 pm encore screening of She Marches in Chinatown, Wok Hei, and xīn nī 廖芯妮) during the Local Sightings Film Festival. Come meet and mingle with SeaDoc’s community of local nonfiction filmmakers! We’ll talk about our upcoming projects, filmmaking resources and tips, and opportunities to collaborate over $5 beers ‘n’ wines. Thanks to festival sponsor Georgetown Brewing Co., the first beer’s free!

After the event, join the festival for three powerhouse short films from the Chinese diaspora, each about (meta)physical artifacts that have been passed down through generations.
