Jon Botten

Driven by a lifelong passion for documentary storytelling, Jon Botten began his career as the owner of VidCom Productions, where he helped hundreds of mission-driven organizations share their stories of impact. For nearly a decade, he brought together diverse voices and creative talents to craft compelling narratives that helped nonprofits raise tens of millions of dollars for their causes.

In 1999, Jon's experience helping nonprofits advance their missions led him to become the Executive Director of Children's Therapy Center (CTC). During his 17-year tenure, he pioneered innovative partnership models, including forming a Management Services Organization that allowed multiple organizations to share resources while maintaining their unique identities and missions.

In 2016, Jon became CEO of Childhaven, one of Puget Sound's oldest human services organizations. There, he continued his commitment to collective impact by leading four organizational mergers that expanded services through strategic alignment of complementary visions, missions, and goals. Today Jon works as a governance, strategy, and implementation consultant and coach. 

Throughout Jon’s career he has learned that the most powerful stories – and the most lasting impact – emerge through partnerships formed around a compelling shared vision.
